Hello Mr.
My first question to you ,how you coined the above two terms .
Have you got the above diagnosis from a
Psychiatrist in past or you have chosen the diagnosis for urself after consulting any other sources apart from Psychiatrist.
So if you are known case of Depression comorbid with social anxiety disorder then you along with ur family member must know about ur situation and everyone must agree to start any form of treatment.
Fluxitine is approved only for depression but it is not approved for Social anxiety disorder.
So now what next ,you need to consult a Psychiatrist to evaluate the severity of depression & social anxiety disorder.
One thing i want to clear you , Any form of psychotherapies ( Congnitive & behavioral therapies ) can be only used or taken in very mild form or beginning of ur problems once the problem is full blown and reached a state moderate to severe ,psychotherapies alone are incomplete & can't do justice to ur problems. Their need & use can be advised additionally only after consulting a Psychiatrist , when to start or which form of psychotherapies you require that all can be addressed or can be given by Psychiatrist itself. So psychotherapies and Medicines therapy are very last thing .
First thing is to diagnose you correctly , whether you have illness or not , if present what kind of illness and what mode of treatment that illness requires ,this is possible when u consult any Psychiatrist of ur choice.
Next Steps
Visit any Psychiatrist along with ur significant
family member and make sure u follow a fixed
treatment by ur Psychiatrist.
Health Tips
*Compliance with drug & follow up with doctors
is very important in such situation.
*Don't waste ur time & money visiting any other
heath professionals apart from Psychiatrist or
Neuropsychiatrist.
Behavior and cognitive behavior therapy works best for social anxiety
Its deep rooted thought patterns which needs to be adressed
Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling online
All the best
