I recently had an episode of gallstones passing with severe pain and a visit to the emergency room.
After multiple ultrasound and a CT scan, there was only increase in wall thickness but no evidence of a stone, except circumstantial -resulting inflammation.
But nowadays (it has been 7 days after the visit) I have been experiencing mild pain in my upper right abdomen, just where I had suffered gallstone attack.
What are the reasons? Do I have bile duct stones? What might be the other reasons? How can I go on about without removing my gallbladder? What can I do to prevent further pain/attacks?
