GERD and headache
I’ve had some really bad GERD symptoms for over a week: lower and upper back pain, bloating, recurring sore throat (although now it’s more than temporary and feels like globus sensation). My hips are somewhat sore, but I did some hiking and other physical activity that I normally don’t. Back in April, I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia after and upper endoscopy. Not sure if it's relevant, but I have recently made out with a few strangers. . General ENT issues with ears and sinuses all the time

it is most likely your gerd symptoms are related to the hiatal hernia you were diagnosed with. using proton pump inhibitors can bring temporary relief to your symptoms but i would suggest you visit a Gastroenterologist for further help. For ent issues try steam inhalation and avoid exposure to cold winds specially at night and avoid drinking anything thats cold.

You have multiple problems for which I would advise you to visit a MD general medicine so that you can be evaluated and undergo the necessary investigation and get treated accordingly. The body pain is likely due to the excessive exercise done after a prolonged time, you can apply a hot water bag over the area which hurts which is likely to give some relief. You will require antacids for the control of GERD These following steps will help you with your GERD: - Don't skip meals, you may not feel like eating but in such conditions you should have the reduced amount in frequent intervals(i.e. 3 square meals broken down to 5 or 6 as you can tolerate) and slowly increase as you get better. - Reduce/ Avoid spicy, fried, fatty, junk and oily food - Avoid/ Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once a day - Exercise regularly (minimum 30-45 mins per day) - Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters - Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking if you have the habit - Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation. - Avoid painkillers as it will increase your gastric problems at this moment. As for your sinus problems, you will require antihistamines. These following steps may help: - Do steam inhalation(plain steam) regularly - Avoid caffeinated and alcoholic beverages as they cause dehydration and will worsen your condition. - Use a humidifier in your room which is seen to be beneficial in sinusitis - Wiping the face regularly with a towel moist with hot water has also shown to help.
