Hard swollen gum on the upper jaw
I have observed from past few months that I developed hard bony swollen gum on the right side, upper jaw above the tooth.. though its painless but when I smile it looks really bad.. its shattering my confidence.. I have a phobia of dentist  so pls suggest me something effective to get rid of this.. please😷

Hello, Welcome to practo. As you said it is Bony hard it can be maxillary tori. If it is tori you don't need to worry. If it looks like hard swollen mass you needs to visit a dentist. It needs to be evaluated it may be maxillary cyst if it is not addressed it will grow though it is not fetal. Hope my answer will help you. Regards Dr Muzaffar

Hello Need a Clinical pic at least to comment.kindly post a picture of the swelling.also need to know if you have any  history of trauma to the teeth in that region.moreoverd not be scared of the dentist,rather you should visit the dentist to prevent further problems.
