HBA1C & ABG
Hello Doctor I see from my reports that HBA1C says 6.1 and ABG says 128. I am overweight. Please let me know what actually the above numbers mean and what should be my next course of action. Thanks in advance

It means that you are in the prediabetic range. If it crosses 6.5,  it is considered as diabetes. As you said, being overweight could be one of the reasons behind it. You should aim for a gradual weight loss through dietary changes and exercise. Also, do check your lipid profile and blood pressure and recheck hba1c at 3 monthly intervals to know if its rising. It may warrant medicines then.
