Surgery is the best choice for hernia...there is something called herniorrhaphy with hernioplasty..in which the surgeon makes an incision in your groin and pushes the protruding contents back into your abdomen and the weak area often is reinforced and supported with a synthetic mesh...cost varies from place to place and depends upon hospital...Consult nearest surgeon they will do the needful.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. The choice is yours if you want to go for laproscopic surgery or a open surgery but mesh repair will be done. The surgeon basically pushes back the herniated contents back into the abdomen and then reinforce the anterior abdominal wall with a synthetic mess which will give the strength. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
