If long-standing, needs check up and further blood tests. You may physically consult your local Orthopaedic specialist OR Consult me online through video consultation for detailed history, examination and clinical tests for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Raised ESR and CRP are indirect indicators of inflammation in the body. The joint pain can be because of inflammatory arthritis like Rheumatoid, but needs to be confirmed with typical history and examination findings.
Next Steps
Get a consultation for greater clarity. Till then, use paracetamol for pain. Use warm water bags. Use pain relief spray. Start exercises of small joints of the hand once pain reduces a little. Consult if pain is too severe.
