High prolactin treatment
I had conceived last month but the pregnancy ended before 4 weeks. Doctor did a blood test. My prolactin level is 37, thyroid panel is normal. TSH is 2.4. I ovulate every month. For the prolactin doctor has prescribed me Cabergolin to be taken every week once. Can we conceive while on Cabergolin. Will I need to continue this if I get pregnant. If I stop this and my prolactin levels increase again will it cause miscarriage?

Yes u can conceive while on cabergolin Stop once you find out you are pregnant or repeat prolactin after 2 months and stop if normal. No chances of miscarriage because of this reason.. Don't forget folic acid before planning.
