Hypothyroidism
I have previously been diagnosed with endometriosis and Ibs. I think I am hypothyroid. I have low body temperatures, weight gain, hair loss, dry skin, brittle nails, and extreme tiredness. I had my tsh level tested and it was a 3.98 my doctor says this is normal and refuses to refer me to an endocrinologist. The AACE recommends a reference range of 0.3 to 3.0. Is my thyroid actually normal? What can I do to see an endocrinologist?
