Implantation bleeding

My wife do get proper periods and we are trying to get pregnant. On her 20th day onwards we are seeing a brown discharge and its been 4 days this is still seen. Sometime it is bit thick as well. Could this be an implantation bleeding. Usually she gets discharge near to her periods. Her period cycle is 30 days. This is first time she is experiencing this. Could this be implantation bleeding?
