Jaw line & pain in ear
Hi , I have a pain in my right jawline & ear . I have done RCT in 1 Teeth at the upper right side and 1 RCT & 1 filling in 2 teeth below side . Last month my gum was bleeding so dentist gave me clorni gel & it get cured within 3 days. Now from last 4 weeks my jaw line till ear is paining badly . When I work on laptop for whole day the pain get more severe but it's bearable . However i m able to eat properly . Please subject me any medicine or home made remedy so that I'll have some relief during this lockdown period.

Get an OPG( Full mouth x-ray) done if possible.
Next Steps
For the time being ,do warm saline rinses. Take Tab Augmentin 625mg twice daily and torodent dt 10 mg thrice daily for 3 days.

Ideally we need an opg for you to understand what seems to be the problem accurately If possible get an opg from the radiological centre and post it For the time being take an anti inflammatory medication like paracetamol

Pain can be due to underlying infection,take:- Tab O2 twice daily for 5days after meals Tab Combiflam twice daily for 5days after meals Tab Rablet D once daily for 5days before meals Intraorally can apply Colgate Pain out gel or clove oil on affected area thrice daily for a week Warm saline rinses between meals Hot towel fomintation extraorally for 15 minutes thrice daily for 15 days ☆☆☆If patient is alcoholic or has consumed same within 15 days DO NOT take O2 as it has life threatening reaction instead take Augmentin 625mg ☆☆☆In case of acute severe pain take Tramadol OR Voveran OR 2 tablets of Ketorol DT dispersed in water

Hello you can use Dologel CT oral gel to apply at that area which was bleeding earlier and also use Hexidine fresh mouthwash but read the instructions before using them and later on after the lockdown you can visit to the Dental Clinic.

Without seeing physically and without radiograph we cant suggest. But time being you can take analgesics like ketarolac 10mg 2-1-1 first day then 1-1-1 following days for 3-5days. If swelling happens then take antibiotic like moxclav 375mg or sporidex cv for 3-5days. If you have no medical problems better call your dentist or physician. Call us
