Long QTc 422?
I was told I have a Long QTc of 422. My doctor told me to keep a note on me saying "Long QTc 422" at all times. I also have constant, consistent chest pain and shortness of breath. What does this mean?

Long QTc would have been explained to you if you have shown to a cardiologist, it has tendency to cause life threatening arrhythmia.  To prevent precipitation of such events should avoid long QT causing drugs, have long list available on net. Sudden change in Body salt magnesium, potassium and calcium should not occur generally with diarohhea and some syndrome. Chest associated with blockage of arteries does not occur but still needed To be evaluated
Next Steps
consult cardiologist to start of beta blockers and further evaluation
