Low vitamin D
Hi My vitamin D was low last year. I think due to less exposure to sunlight. I took calcium and vitamin D supplements. It came to normal in 2 months. Now again it is showing low. I will again go for the same treatment. Its OK. But will I can get it back again next year? Is there any permanent remedy?

Eat food rich in vitamin d. Treatment depends on how low it is. Consult orthopaedic doctor. Take regular supplements

Exposure to Sun is permanent remedy. When you are exposed to Sun there occurs a chemical reaction under your skin in which Cholesterol converts into Vit D. So these days when exposure to Sun is low, people have High cholesterol and low vit D. What you take is supplement so there is no Harm in taking these. Even if you achieve sufficient level continue taking this Once a month or else use milk which is Fortified with Vit D. Dietary source of Vit D is really limited.
Next Steps
Start with Supplements as per dosage suggested by your Orthopaedician
