I have a really sore hard lump behind my left earlobe that's hurts to touch and even to turn my head. No redness the lump is flesh colour and is about 1.5cm long.

You might be having enlargement of post auricular lymph node which usually occurs secondary to scalp infections. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers for few days for relief of pain and size of lymph nodes will slowly regress over time.
