Motion issue
Hi , I have 5 months kid ( baby boy) . His weight is 5 kg . He will drink formula milk and breast milk also daily . Recently we have started by giving nestum one time in a day . He is not passing motion daily for that my doctor suggest me one syrup i.e "mlik of magnesia" if we will give this syrup at night one spoon daily .hence motion is passing normally . If we stoped the syrup means on that day he is not passing motion so can you please suggest how long I need to continue this medicine . Give any suggestion for this issue . Thanks ,

Breastfeeding should be exclusive food for babies till 6 months of age. Mixfeeding breast+formula is not good. Breastfeeding should be 2 years or more. After 6 months you may start solid foods. I do not recommend laxatives for small babies. Instead, you may give fruit juice 30 to 60 ml daily.
Health Tips
it is not necessary to pass stools everyday
