Muscle loss or atrophy
I was in bed rest for about 20 days with a viral infection, and I lost about 6-8kgs. Since then my weight is stable but I've lost muscles mainly affecting my hamstrings on both legs. Lost too much leg muscles.(Thigh's and loose wrinkly skin in foot) Pain/strain in hip, hamstrings, knees and ankle when I stand for a while. What should I do? Is it a major concern or just diet and exercises will improve my condition? Or something else? Please help.
