Negetive thoughts and social anxiety
Hey, I have been experiencing suicidal thoughts, pain in chest (sometimes), increased heartbeat and I always feel the need to cry my heart out. I consulted with a doctor on practo only. She suggested me guided meditation, challenging my thoughts and maintain a worksheet. But Nothing helped me so far. Need some supportive medicine or any other treatment. Please help. Thanks in advance

Hey Glad u reached out. I understand that u have been advised some skills / practises to overcome the anxiety and related symptoms which you are unable to do effectively hence the turmoil continues. Buddy ur right that meds can be helpful to overcome the anxiety if these tips are not helping or working. But can u say that u have given ur best attempt in making it work? I urge you u keep practising grounding techniques to calm urself when anxious. It helps. These things take time... and sometimes longer than we expect to show positive effect. Hang in there.
Next Steps
Pls feel free to connect over a consult. I can help u.

Hello, From the symptoms that you've mentioned, it looks like you might have depression. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for medication and a formal diagnosis. They might even ask to run some bloodwork. In addition to medication, you also need to set up therapy sessions to learn new coping skills and overcome the challenges you're facing. Your deep emotional issues will be explored in therapy.
Next Steps
1. Consult a psychiatrist 2. Sign up for therapy

Hi... Is there any thing you are worried about or you are not feeling good about? It may be anything related to your family, friends, social group, college, body, appearance, career, future, relationships, etc. Something that you are trying to repress. If yes, I suggest you undergo counselling/psychotherapy for 15—20 sessions conducted on Weekly basis. This will help you surface your underlying issues and will develop ways to deal with them. If the frequency and intensity of your Suicidal Thoughts are high then please consult a Psychiatrist immediately. If it is moderate or mild, they can be addressed with counselling/psychotherapy.
Next Steps
Seek a Psychologist for Counselling/Psychotherapy
