I have become very worried about artificial sweeteners, GMO's, and processed foods very recently. I am 19 years old and have been eating heavily processed food for as long as I can remember. I am now worried that I will have health problems in the future. I plan to cut out all these bad things and start eating healthier immediately but I am still worried for my health later on with these heart, digestive, respiratory, cancerous, and diabetes issues. I currently weigh 217 and am 5'5".

Processed foods are ladden with calories, transfats, preservatives, enhancers n colorants. So u av had enough of them till now. Now u almost need a lifestyle n behavioral modification to make a fresh beginning. Always eat fresh seasonal products if organic even more better. Food shd be freshly cooked as far as possible, meals and b well balanced consisting of chapati, dal, veg, curd and salads. Ur weight seems to be towards higher side, so limit ur no of chapatis n instead try to eat more of dals, veggies n salad. Eat colorful fibrous and citrus fruits everyday. Take lots of water at least 2-2.5 litres. Green tea, soups, coconut water r also healthy

do at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity ever y day. start with brisk 30min of brisk walk.
Health Tips
try to avoid too much simplesugars, salt, butter, full cream milk,n bakery products.

Great...finally u realised ur mistake .Its gud dat u want to go to healthier meal pln. Eat fresh homely food in small intervals.Add more fruits nd green veges ,gud fats ,complex carbs nd adequate amount of protein in ur diet.Start exercise nd increase ur water intake.Consult personally fr proper guidance  nd meal pln.

Hi Practo user, I am really happy to know that at quite young age you realised and tried to change your wrong dietary pattern. Kudos. Because you were on heavy dose of calories , suddenly you won't be able to deprive your body,the calories your body is in need.
