Hey there! I understand how being an introvert can be difficult at times. It can also be difficult to form a social group. I hear you. One of the best things you can do is to consult a therapist. A therapist will be able to look into your concerns in detail and curate a specific treatment plan for you. The therapist will also be able to guide you to open up more and help you out with strategies to manage the negative effects of your introversion. Here are a few thighs you could do by yourself to open up a little more: Catch up with friends and family - Spent time with your friends and family. If you have people whom you haven't spent time with in a long time, make sure to meet them and catch up. It could be a day out for lunch or even a shopping day out. Interacting with people helps you open up. Join a class or a course that interests you - This might help you interact with other people having similar interests and hobbies as you do. This would be a good opportunity for you to open up and discuss things you love. Join a support group - You can find support groups both online and offline wherein you would be able to find people from similar walks of life. You will have the opportunity to interact with people who have gone through similar experiences. You would also feel supported and like you aren’t alone in your struggles. You might even find new ways in which others deal with the same concern. Make small goals and celebrate your achievements. For example if you decide to put yourself out of your comfort zone and succeed in doing so, then treat yourself to your favourite ice cream for instance Remember, it is okay to be an introvert. If you find it difficult to open up, make sure that you give yourself enough time and that you are kind to yourself. It might be hard for a while, but know that if you are determined enough, you will get exactly where you want to. Stay strong, don’t lose hope!

An introvert changing their behavior to be more extroverted is definitely possible, but it has to be intentional — and it's also difficult. "Think of it like swimming upstream against the current — it's possible, but draining, too,"  You can learn to exhibit extroverted behaviors, manage your anxiety, and environmental stimulation, but that won't change your fundamental nature.

It comes out of practice. Choose people whom you know already and practice to initiate the conversation.. Even having minimum friends or colleagues is also fine for any person to overcome boredom.
