Causes:
Primary: increased prostaglandins.
Secondary: anatomy, infection, endometriosis, tumors.
SX â pain, bleeding, diarrhea, HA.
PE â GU, pelvic, abd.
Next Steps
DX â Infection: WBC, Blood Cx, Cervical Cx. Anatomy, tumors: Pelvic U/S, laparoscopy.
Health Tips
TX â Vit B1 (thiamine). Fish oil. Low fat veg diet. Vit E. NSAIDS - Naproxen 250-500 mg PO BID.
