Pain in lower abdomen- ectopic pregnancy
My ectopic was aug 2023. Doc gave me methotrexate inj( hospitalised for 3days ) and hcg was normal after one month. I am getting pain in my lower abdomen. Is this normal. I lifted water bucket and rock the baby in my lap. Whether pain is normal or should i take scan ? Please help.

I feel taking injection Methotrexate for Ectopic pregnancy is not the complete treatment. A very sincere follow up is required on the part of the patient and also the Doctor. If a Doctor is recommending Inj Methotrexate treatment then it is his responsibility to ensure that the embryo has been expelled out of the fallopian tube. That's, perhaps, what has not been done in your case.

Pain cannot be related to ectopic now. Could be some other reason. If it persists you should get a consultation.

Pain after 6 months of treatment would be unrelated to the previous treatment Get an ultrasound done to fight out the reason
