Paracetamol extra doses
Hello doctor...my baby is 1.5 yr old...sorry to say ...Yesterday he had fever and I gave him 5ml dose of paracetamol twice.  I did not know that I had to give 2.5 ml... could the baby have any problem?

first see what is strengyh of paracetamol /5ml usually sy. paracetamol comes in 2 strength 125mg/5ml and 250mg/5 ml. considering ypur babyage (actually wt is required to calculate dose) but let us consider her wt 10 kg then you shoul give 150mg to 200mg paracetamol. however there is no danger of toxicity
