I wanted to know doctor says by changing the lifestyle pcos can be managed or symptoms can be reduced. Does it mean the cyst in ovaries will go off ?

Yes follow healthy lifestyle take healthy balanced diet green vegetables salads and seasonal fruits and avoid oily spicy and sugery food drink adequate water avoid stress do regular exercises brisk walk, this will help you

Yes it will help you in maintaining hormonal balance and periods become regular . Once balance occurs ur cysts in ovary also will improve.

Life style modification is very important.
1. Eating healthy food and Diet control helps in hormonal balance which improves pcos.
- low carbohydrate diet ( less rice intake )and high protein food( eggs, chicken, dals, legumes, pulses )
- more fruits and vegetables ( green leafy , beans , sprouts )and nuts ( cashew , badam ,dates 3-4 each not more).
-avoid caffeine and have more of probiotics.
- vitamin B, iron , calcium and vitamin D see to it that they are in sufficient quantity.
2. Maintain healthy weight.
-yoga daily improve ur pcos
- walk for atleast 30 minutes daily.
- reduce ur weight by 5% to ur present weight which automatically balances everything and regularises ur periods.
3. Stay relaxed , as stress and emotionally down also causes hormonal imbalance.
- listen to good music , meditate for some time daily.
If u think it a not working then we ll go with medication which ll fasten the improvement.
