PDA size 3mm left to right shunt
Hi Doctor, MY Wife had a PDA issue, we found that when we took a echo scan as a part of pregnancy test. The scan report output is " PDA of size 3mm noted with left to right shunt. No CA & CV dilatation. Good biventricular functions. IAS/INS Intact. No PAH. " Doctor told to consult a cardiologist after a year of delivery. My wife didn't have a symptoms of shortness of breath and heart pain but recently when she doing a lot of work she felt a pain in her heart less than minute. My wife age is 26. Do I have to do a PDA surgery or it's a normal one.
