Small PDA L-R shunt
My son 1month and 20 days old has a small PDA L-R shunt of size 1.7mm. The echo test was conducted a day before. What are the options now. My son's Paediatrician says we have to wait till he turns 3 months old and then if the PDA doesn't close on its own he may opt for surgery. The Paediatrician didn't prescribe any medicine, hence the doubt.
