Periods are known to be irregular and normal period cycle ranges from 21-35 days. hence even if your periods are delayed by 7 days do not worry. If you are sexually active you may need to know if you are pregnant and hence a urine pregnancy test may be warranted.
Next Steps
Please visit a gynecologist and get examined. Mostly the doctor will do some blood tests ( to rule out thyroid problems, prolactin levels and other hormone evaluation ) and a ultrasound may be done to rule out
Health Tips
Do not worry. The hormones which govern your cycle regularity come from the brain and hence out thoughts and feelings can affect it..
