Tablets to delay periods.
My wife gets her periods at 20th of every month. There is a religious function at home this week, which will co-incide with her periods. When she gets her periods, she will be unable to take part in the function. To avoid this situation, she is taking the tablets Regestrone 5 mg in order to delay her periods. This pill was suggested by one of our family members, who is a a doctor. She afraid that having sex will cause her periods before or on the day of the function. Please let me know if this is true.

Hi, as such Registrone maintain a high hormone levels to prevent shredding of endometrium, thus delaying the period. But excitement during sex causes increase in secretions. And sometimes in some people this secretions happens to be blood stained.
