You must understand that PCOS is basically a pre-diabetic stage. You must refer to a qualified gynaecologist to get appropriate treatment. Diet management has been proven to be beneficial for managing the symptoms of the disease and reducing weight. Due to constant hormonal fluctuations, the body goes into a weight resistant stage, wherein diet management and exercise don't work as efficiently as they otherwise would. You first need to reset your hormones by eating the correct combination of foods and more importantly set your metabolism levels and body clock right.
Next Steps
Have small and frequent meals and follow a strict dietary regime including good amount of fibre in your diet.
