How much time should a re route canal treatment take? Is it too painful? Complete day leave is required? What should be the cost?

Half an hour to 45min for Re-Rct. It will not be painful as it will be done under anesthesia. U will not need a complete day leave..Take a half day leave. Cost will be anywhere between 4k-7k.

First of all, if root canal performed teeth was painless for minimum 6 months, and u get pain later, that infection can be solved with normal antibiotics course. No need for re root canal. Take these tablets Acecloplus Mox 250 DT Flagyl 400 All 3 , twice a day,  for 5 days.
Next Steps
if still pain is there in that teeth, it will give problem ,even after re root canal.. in that case, it's better go with teeth removal. ,

There is a possibility of faulty Root canal treatment done in your case so get re-root canal treatment.. it won't be painful but the procedure may require 2 or 3 sittings
