Pain after RCT is not something that can be ignored. But, since there is a gap in between so it can also be the reason because food gets accumulated in the gap which can surely cause pain. So, you can first get a cap over the RCT tooth so that gap will be filled and also it will protect the tooth from other things, which can reduce the pain.
Next Steps
Cap, continuos gargling and flossing

The pain is due to that little gap only. The food gets stuck there everytime you have food and this causes pain. Kindly get it checked if something can be done about the gap
Pain might be because of food lodgement as u said there is a gap . It’s better u get a cap done on the tooth so gap will be closed and ur problem is resolved. If pain is because of biting then we need to reevaluate root canal treatment as such .
Next Steps
First take care of gap . Get it filled or get a cap (crown ) done
Health Tips
Keep flossing and avoid chewing hard on that area .
