Undergoing RCT, today it was my 2nd sitting and next is for crown measurement next week. However I am experiencing lot of pain when I chew anything. Even on a slight touch while chewing it's paining severely. Otherwise there is no pain just a slight discomfort. Is it normal to experience this pain or is it not done properly.

Your temporary filling may be high... visit your dentist and ask them to reduce your filling from occlusion side...

Ask your dentist to reduce it little bit so that no pressure is produce while chewing.
Sometimes it does have pain for certain period of time.
Hopefully it will subside after reduction if not then wait for some time don’t rush for crown.

Ask your dentist to reduce the occlusal part of the tooth .. pain while chewing could b due to it .... get another X-ray done to confirm the infection is there or not .... if no infection persist than can go for crown ....

After finishing the RCT the tooth should b painless & asymptomatic.. then u can go for crown
Next Steps
after RCT & occlusal clearance is done go for another confirmatory XRay before getting crown
If infection is present in rot canals & apex more irrigation & intracanal Ca(OH)2 should b given in between RCT sittings

Don't bite very hard food stuff until crown is done & continue warm saline mouth bath during RCT sittings

It is normal to experience pain, when the occlusal reduction is not done properly. Hopefully it should resolve in few days with medications .
Go for crown once the pain subsides.
Next Steps
Visit the Dentist and do the reduction, if needed. Avoid chewing on the affected area, untill the crown placement.
