I have been suffering with back pain, it increases when I am a little tired, I started playing badminton which aggrevated it further. I am 38 years old and used to be very active. Kindly assist

⢠Bhujang Asana â Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
Please visit nearest physiotherapy centre for ultrasonic therapy and exercise for 15 days.
It may be due to lumbar problem like oestiophytes in lumbar vertebrae?
Symptoms are suggestive of mechanical back pain or lumbosacral strain. Physiotherapy and spinal extensor strengthening will help. Needs clinical examination if pain persists or radiates elsewhere.
Physiotherapy should help you. Focus should be towards exercises to strengthen your back. The initial treatment will be based on the clinical assessment. Check for hamstring tightness.
