Spotting or periods

Asked for Female, 19 Years

I last had sex on last friday before this one and my periods last got over the friday before that(almost 3 weeks back) I'm currently on DUB-5 hormonal control pills and I left them 2-3 days back so that i could get my periods again as said by the doctor. But yesterday I spotted some blood in my clothes so i thought it to be periods but it didn't bleed the whole evening till night and when I got up today in the morning I spotted blood again in the pad but it wasn't heavy flow and it was brownish in colour unlike that of my menstrual blood so Shall I take a pregnancy test or it may be periods only?

Irregular periods or spotting is a known side effect with Dub5.. if u have taken the pills regularly very less chances of pregnancy .. but if doubt urine pregnancy test at home is easy and would do no harm
