I saw a news in which a 5 years old boy arrested for sexul harassment,14years old boy arrested for phedophilic relationship while seeing this video in YouTube I went to comment section there many of them said that boy should be hanged if you are reading this post say what punishment would be suitable for that those boys wether they should be hanged till death or should beheaded like in Saudi Arabia or to be tortured till death or should pour hot mould in their penis what punishment would be suitable I don't know what this news did me Im mentally disturbed by this news

Such kind of horrifying news does have a psychological negative impact on us i understand how crippling the feeling is, but reality is if you think too much about these things it will only trigger more emotions and any thought or action taken under the influence of negative emotions leads to turmoil in life Hence try to divert your mind and take these things with a pinch of salt The more you think about it the worse you will feel.

understand the triggers and for a while do not follow news that is disturbing get your thoughts busy elsewhere into positive things

In today's day and age, media and the kind of information we see around us can have both a positive and negative effect on us. While Social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram can be extremely beneficial, they are also subject to opinions from individuals all over the world. While some of these opinions are easy to ignore, some can have a significant effect on our mental health. As you have mentioned in this, the content you came across on social media (YouTube) has taken a toll on you. Please know that this is normal. It is fairly common to have your wellbeing affected by something you see or read. However, that does not mean that there's no way to address this. I would suggest that you take nourishing breaks from social media. Please stay off any app that's causing you distress  and ensure that you're using it only for a limited period of time everyday. You can also create a routine for yourself by dedicating only a certain time (for example, 5:30-6:00 in the evening) to catching up with information on social media platforms. You can use the rest of your day to indulge in some self care techniques like meditation, exercising and journaling. While we are stuck in a pandemic now, I understand that going out might not be an option. However, I recommend that you catch up with friends and family, and have some scheduled time to do so, as this will help you stay away from extensively spending time on social media. There is also a chance that the distress you are experiencing is rooted in some other cause. This needs to be and can be explored in a therapeutic environment. If you think the distress you're experiencing is more than you can handle, please try and reach out to a therapist. This will help you understand yourself, gain more insight and also explore different coping mechanisms that can work for you. I hope this helped you. Hi, Do understand your anger and pain. The law is there to take care of them and give justice to the victim. As you mentioned, it has disturbed you mentally. Need to help children to be aware of such people and educate them on protecting themselves from such people.
Next Steps
Need to focus on actions than worrying or getting anxious about such situations. Consult a psychologist.

Its natural to feel anguish reading such news but dont take it too personally.. Punishment should fit the crime whatever is decided by our court we don't have much say. It has to be lawful otherwise there are umpteen methods to punish someone.
