Sudden lower back sprain.
My wife received sudden back sprain when she was trying to reach out for something and since three days she is on muscle relaxants, diclofenac and paracetamol. Also on cold/ice pads and using belt. But the pain and stiff ness has not subsided. Kindly suggest next steps.

Hi, if it is s localised pain it is likely to be a strain. Ask her to take adequate bed rest. if she is up an about all the time pain will persist inspire of analgesics and muscle relaxant. you can also go to a Physio for some  kind of heat treatment. wait for a few days. if not subsiding consult an orthopaedician
