Suuffering from discomfort upper back
Having pain in upper and mid back and shoulder blades. Have discomfort sleeping sideways as well on back . Constant discomort and pain

Chiropractic adjustment will help. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times

How long do you have pain? Did you change your mattress recently? Did you change your pillow? Did you start any exercise recently?

You should give hot water fomentation for your back. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do upper back and neck stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance.

Apply an ice pack on the upper back and take a medium height pillow. Stretch out after you finish your work and also frequently between works and take posture breaks. You can perform certain exercises to get a stronger upper back and hence to get rid of this issue permanently.

There can be different reasons of pain need proper examination for better diagnosis. If you have change mattress,or due to working for long on laptop. May be due to postural issue. So for better treatment results need proper diagnosis of condition. For pain now you can use pain'relieving gel like volini gel or diclofenac gel. Use hot water bag or ice pack three times a day 10 min-15min. Start doing exercises for shoulder like strengthening and stretching.
