Thyroid swelling
My wife have been two time FNAC but disease not being confirm Dr say again FNAC .I want to know what will side effect again with FNAC into related organ.it is harmful ? Please help me.

FNAC is not a fool proof technique to identify thyroid swellings. Sometimes repeated FNAC may be necessary to confirm the diagnosis. There is no harm in doing multiple FNAC
