Tongue become sore
Hi, A week ago suddenly one day when I was having breakfast I felt like sore. So I have added some more salt  and still I felt the same. Finally I came to know my tongue become tasteless. I did search in Google and found it could be because of vitamin B12 or iron or some infections in mouth. I don't have any mouth infections and I used vitamin B12 tablets but it cured up to some extent not fully. When I go for iron tablets they suggested these can't give results in days. This was happened after I had beetroot directly for two days or the day I use patanjali dantakaanti. Please give me solution.

Hi. There are multiple causes for such a problem. Heartburn or gastric reflux is a common cause of loss of taste. Stomach acid regurgitated into the mouth produces a loss of normal taste. poor dental hygiene causes bacterial growth in the mouth or ulcers can also cause loss of taste. Vitamin b12 and zinc deficiency also leads to impaired taste. I would advice take an opinion from a dentist. Get a scaling if needed. Switch back to your old tooth paste for some time and see if the problem resolved. Still if not resolved, contact a general physician for the same
