Hai, enlarged papillae may have so many reasons behind, one of them may be smoking. Some vitamin or mineral deficiencies such as B complex vitamin deficits. If enlarged papillae persist for more than 2 weeks, then visit an oncologist. Vitamin D is no ways related to it but you should rectify your deficiency too. If you are a non vegetarian, you can opt for oily fish, dairy products, tofu, egg yolk.Canned tuna fish and canned sardines both contain vitamin D. One more source which nobody is aware of is UV-emitting lamps and bulbs. People at high risk of vitamin D deficiency may resort to UV-emitting lamps and bulbs. These lamps carry the same skin-cancer risks and need for protective eyewear,so if you are very much deficit only then you can take this option. And sunlight as everyone knows is another and the best source of vitamin D. early morning sunbath before 9:00am in summers will not have the risk of skin cancers.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. What pappilae are you talking about? Vitamin d3 is mainly required by joints and bones anong other things. You should get adequate sun exposure daily and take calcium and vitamin d3 supplements also as suggested by your doctor. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
