Hi dr , I have read that chia seeds help in weightloss, is it true? If i walk for 30 mins daily and take chia seeds water when i wake up is it going to help me reduce around 5 kgs ...?

well balanced diet, small frequent meals with limited portion sizes, high fiber diet, plenty of water along with fluids, exercises both morning and evening, 45 mins of brisk walking  on empty stomach, chia seeds water, quinoa is also beneficial, oats porridge, green tea, warm lemon water without sugar or honey on empty stomach upon rising, good sleep, exposure to sun are all essential..and to be done consistently without fail on all the days of the week...

For reducing weight follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and walk early morning and evening. Take high fibre food in ur diet.add more fruits and vegetables in ur diet.add planty of water.avoid oily and fried food.

Chia seeds,or atai seeds alone will do nothing unless u plan ur diet,ur lifestyle habits. So eat plenty of vegetables,fruits,and greengram sprouts in all ur meals .Millets are good substitute for rice,wheat. Avoid fastfoods,bakery foods,preserved foods,nonveg,masalas,spicuoilyfoods. Walk,exercise,yoga,play sports everyday for an hour atleast. Drink enough water,sleep leisurely for six hrs atleast at night. Keep up ur eating time and concentrate on what ur eating.

See one side you will take chia seed another side will take high calorie than this will not work .so you need to start low calorie balanced  diet with some physical activity.
