Hello, I am 47 year old male. My father, mother and grandfather suffer from high cholesterol levels. I am also been diagnosed with borderline high cholesterol the bad one. I am not on any medications yet. Please tell me foods that can help me to increase the good cholesterol levels?

Hi, Foods to drop bad cholesterol are Nuts and oilseeds like Almonds,Walnuts, Flaxseeds. High fibre foods like Oats, Barley,Rye etc,fruits and vegetables. Foods to increase good cholesterol are very few like Vitamin B3 rich supplements and Red wine. Also cardio exercise like jogging helps a great extent in increasing good cholesterol.
