Wrist joint pain
8 days back while taking my son to school my right hand got a jerk and weight load due to a pathol while going on my bike. Since then I tried to cure it by rubbing iodex and local medicine - Acemiz c and intagesic mr. Please recommend whether I should seek arthopaedic or an MD doctor would do or should I continue with what I m doing. So far I don't have a problem but after few days it starts to to pain again so looking for a suggestion here. Thanks in advance.

Sir, First do x-ray of wrist and get diagnosed. I hope there is no fracture. Is there any swelling ? Warm ? Red ? If yes then first apply COLD PACK, 3 to 4 times daily. If the area is not swell red or warm then can apply HOT PACK. Immobilize your wrist untill pain subside. When pain minimum then start exercise*.
Next Steps
Go to physiotherapist for UST/WAX BATH.
Health Tips
*exercise : pain free range of motion activities, no weight or resistance. do not carry weight or bear weight. gradually progress in exercise. get advice from local physiotherapist. thanking you
