Dr. Samit Sampatraj Jain,

Is a gem of a Doctor (Gastroenterologist) here at Jaslok Hospital, Pedder Road, Mumbai.

He is also a visiting (On Panel) Doctor at Gokuldham Medical Center, Goregaon East, Mumbai

And this is where we 1st consulted him regarding my mother's Gastric, Acidity and Abdominal problems relating to food digestion. He recommended thorough blood tests like:

CBC (Total Blood Count),

SGPT+SGOT (Liver),

Creatinine (Kidney),

CEA etc. And also

Full Abdomen (USG) Sonography,

At Gokuldham Medical Center, Goregaon East, Mumbai (400063).

And concluded that since above results/tests are good except for Low Hemoglobin count, my mother should be admitted for Blood Transfusion and also a final test of Endoscopy + Colonoscopy at either of the 3 Hospitals of:

Saifee, Breach Candy or Jaslok here in South Mumbai where he is an OnPanel Medical Practitioner. He also informed us well in advance that these 2 procedures will take 2-3 days (major chunk will be taken up by Blood Transfusion process) where as Endoscopy and Colonoscopy are just small procedures taking not more than 20-25 mins. in total.

We chose Jaslok Hospital and it was a really good experience and cared treatment by the very humble, calm, composed and talented Dr.Samit Jain Sir. He gave us full assurance and confidence to the underlying tests of Endoscopy and Colonoscopy and said he himself will be doing this procedure on my mother and there will be no scope of tension required from our end. My mother was admitted under Mediclaim and after successful Blood Transfusion in 2 days and with a healthy level of Hemoglobin the 3rd day was reserved for Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. On this day, my mother was administered Local Anesthesia and within 20-25 mins both the procedures/tests were carried out by Dr. Samit Jain Sir.

When asked, my mother said she had already slept due to the light Anesthesia administered and didn't feel a thing. She was surprised when Dr. Samit Jain Sir tapped her forehead and informed her smilingly that the procedure has been completed successfully and he will update her and myself with his clinical findings.

We are very thankful to his Care, Kind nature and his thorough Expertise in diagnosing the problem and administering light yet effective medicines to my mother for her gastric, acidity and abnormal bowel issues due to infection and ulcer in her Food pipe.

I am also very glad that such expert Doctors do not stick to just one area of Mumbai City (South Mumbai) alone but take efforts to travel to other parts of Mumbai Suburbs to treat needy people like us (my mother).

I am really thankful to have Dr. MINU PANDEY SHAH as my gynecologist.

I had started my journey couple of years back with her to treat my PCOD condition and her guidance and medication had helped me a lot. After continuing with my PCOD treatment we even planned for our pregnancy and she helped us with so much patience and support. We had a very smooth and amazing pregnancy journey knowing that Dr. Minu was always there for us whenever needed. I had shown Dr Samit Jain first time in January however even after investigations of 1.5 months with USG re done, CT Scan ** *** ****** ** ** *** ***** *********. He also suggest injections to be taken on multiple occasions as SOS to relief the pain ******* ******* ******* ********** ** ** ********* ********* ****** *** ******

He suggested me to get the scan re done within a span of 7 days which was quite shocking and alarming for me to switch to another doctor* **** ** **** ** ******** ********* ** ******* **** *** **** ** ***** *** ****** **** ** *** ********* *** ** ******** *** **** ***** *** **** *** ******* ** *** *** * ** ******** ** *** **** **** ** **** ** ******* **** *** **** ** ********

Overall poor diagnosis and pain relief solutions provided by him, No cure to my health problem.

Would never recommend him!!

Dr Minu Shah has been the source of guidance for us with her prompt response and the course she adopted which resulted in the right treatment without wasting time and saved my mom from a life threatening condition. She has always patiently answered all my queries and concerns and elaborately explained my mothers condition to me along with necessary treatment and the possible outcomes too. I am extremely thankful to her for the way she has handled my moms case always adding that personal touch by following up with me to know how she is doing even post the surgery.
