Dr. Sudeshna Biswas

I got married 10 months back (arranged marriage)and shifted to delhi from chennai. Within few days of our marriage we started having frequent arguments. Over the period of time our families got involved but couldn't resolve our issues. We both were considering divorce though our families were against divorce. My husband's friend suggested us to go for marital counselling. We both were of the opinion that an outsider cannot resolve our issues. Still because of the friend's insistence we met Dr Sudeshna Biswas 2months back. On the day one she gave both of us adequate time and listened to both of us and briefed us plan regarding how she wud proceed. To be honest I was of the opinion that in one or two session she should come up with solution. When she informed that we require few sessions, I was a bit reluctant to go back to her and even thought of going to a different doctor who cud do the process earlier. But thankfully I decided to give it a trial. After my first proper session with her, I knew I was in right hands. My husband too had the same opinion. For the first time me and my husband had similar opinion about something. Since then we continued going to her regularly. Today after 2 months, we could work on our relation as per her guidance and maintaining a peaceful life. Though our doctor has put an end to our joint sessions, I plan to continue going to her atleast once a month because I realize I need to grow as an individual and no body cud be a better guide than her. Thanks doctor for guiding us appropriately.

I had taken one of my friend to the doctor around 1 and 1/2 months back for the first time. My friend was very reluctant to visit any lady psychiatrist considering that he is generally uncomfortable with ladies and thus won't be able to open up .But since we didn't have a good experience with our first psychiatrist who was a male doctor and an obvious preference of my friend at that point who hardly gave us time and was in a great hurry to write a prescription, so my friend agreed to my choice of doctor this time. My friend was given enough time on the first visit and dealt with lots of empathy. He was made very comfortable and the doctor talked about the way of treatment in details .My friend took an immediate decision to continue with her which came as a great surprise to me. He is going for regular counseling sessions since then. Today after 1 and 1/2 months I can really see a remarkable change in him. I really feel satisfied within that I suggested the right doctor for my friend and am thankful to the doctor that she handled my friend in such a responsible manner. All the best to the doctor. She has great potential to change people's life.

My problem started a year back with strange thoughts coming to my mind and I was also behaving odd. I was diagnosed as a case of psychosis by 2renowned psychiatrists.with my 1st doctor I continued for 2 months and with my 2nd doctor another 1month.At the end of 3months I had deteriorated further.no improvement in symptoms.on top of that became very slow physically and mentally.Then we switched to Dr Sudeshna.2things which really impressed me before I even started with her prescribed medicine was we didn't have to wait and was seen almost at our scheduled appointment time and 2ndly she gave us enough time to know my history and give me proper explanation which was not the case with other doctors who gave us hardly 10-15min and made us wait long.she differed from the previous doctors diagnosis and said that I was not a case of psychosis rather I was a case of ocd and gave medicine accordingly.i dramatically started improving in just couple of weeks .i got my personal and professional life back which was completely disrupted.All thanks to Dr .I wish her success

I am 32 year old woman...I have been battling depression from last 16 years..and I am proud to say that with help of my doctor...I defeated it with much grace.. I have always been academically scholar student...and a situation of not able to qualify an entrance test triggered symptoms of anxiety..depression...insignifucance...gettung into shell and much more at the age if 17..in between I have been under treat ment of 3- 4 different doctors in various phases of my life and everytime I stopped medicine even after consultatoon of doctors..aftee fee years with different personal or stress conditions...these symptoms with slight variation reappeared...though with medications of other doctors I use to find myself quite dozzy and fatigued throughout the day...With Dr. Sudeshna...its just different...She is a wonderful lady with such a friendly approach...she gives enough time to their patients..keep a track of their life...n with all your irrelevant problems which probably we create in our mind...she gives a simple one line solutions n definitely with medicines...I am doing quite good from last 2.5 years since I am in contact with her..n my conditions has been very normal...it wasshe who explained me that like other physical problems..i may require continous minimal disease for a longer duration...but it's a small price and step for living a full filledand happy life...I am professionaly very successful and a joyful person today who is loved both at family and workplace....for me she is next to God...stay blessed my pretty woman.Dr. Sudeshna Biswas
