Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine, commonly used to relieve panic attacks or overt anxiety symptoms. It has various formulations available in market. If taken regularly, it has the tendency to produce tolerance where an individual will have to increase the dose to attain its anxiolytic effect.
Having said so, Benzodiazepines aren’t drugs that should be taken for long periods. The risk of dependence can overweigh the benefits.
Next Steps
Every drug we take has a half life, Clonazepam is one of the longer acting benzodiazepine which takes 30-40 hours to reach its half life, where its concentration is reduced to half of the consumed dose and then eventually its effect weans off.
If you are taking 1.5 mg over a span of 1 month and I am assuming not daily, then nothing to worry. You may as well think of stopping it altogether if there are no active symptoms.
Health Tips
You may consider taking Clonazepam 0.25 mg whenever required and not on regular basis.
If any other symptoms appear or reappear, you may consult a psychiatrist to get yourself evaluated for any active psychiatric issues.
