Glucose test result?

She is 5th month pregnant. Today glucose test: fasting is 96.8mg/dl, glucose after 1hr is 200mg/dl, after 2hr is 123mg/dl. Is it ok?

your fasting and 2 hr GTT values are within normal range . But 1 hr is derranged. You better go for 2hour OGTT with 75 gm glucose which is a simple and better. For further enquiry plz consult

Ideally we require only 2 hr test after drinking 75gm glucose which is called a OGCT Your test result is 123 which is slightly high so You have to consult a dietitian and control sugar Your obstetrician will guide you about it. There is no need to Panick
