Is whey protein safe during pregnancy

2022-08-03 02:27:25
Hello, I am in my first trimester and before pregnancy I was on diet and to complete my protein intake I used to take 2 scoops of whey protein daily. After knowing my pregnancy status I am not having it. Can you please help me with it? Whether I should take whey protein or not? The brand I use was - Food strong and Fuel One by MB. Or if there is some safe protein powders for pregnant women then please let me know.

You can use it. Better to use natural one in diet like eggs, boiled sprouts, paneer, daal, milk. Protein requirement more from second trimester.

You can include more legumes , sprouts, boiled eggs into your diet to increase protein content and later after 4 months of pregnancy continue with protein powder

More safe will be eggs. Instead of whey Protein it will be better if you take 2 eggs (in any form) per day.
