Hello there,,,,well first and foremost is dont worry or be tensed....actually ACL,MCL injuries are quit common with sports of Football,rugby,volleyball...most of the worlds topmost atheletes suffer from it...what u need to understand is what these 2 structures do to your knees ...well the answer is they provide stability to your knee joint....mostly in my practise i have seen that partial tear of ACL requires no surgery and with aggressive sports oriented protocol the person can return to sports within 20-24 weeks.(this depends on the physic,diet,motivation of the athlete as well) along with certain supplementation.
However in your case even the MCL are torn which is comparitively a rare occourance and explains why u r rehab is not very successful.
