Anxiety, worridness, Fear & Depression
I am noticing myself that day by day getting nervous, scared, worried, depressed and suddenly my hands and legs are shivering a lot and it is happening because of various anxiety and depression. Easily getting scared in small small situation which earlier I have faced but it haven't affected me so much. I am sometime getting so depressed so stressed due to overthinking that I can't control myself. In many occasions I am getting angry and then bursting myself and misbehaving with people. Thought I am still bachelor trying to tie knot this year. Kindly advise what to do, if any treatment requires or not.

Dear Sir Feeling sad, lack of interest in things, irritability, anxiety, feeling restless and on the edge, disturbed sleep and appetite can all be symptoms of mental health problems like depression and anxiety. Please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and further management. You will also need a physical examination and blood test to rule out any physical cause like thyroid abnormality . Treatment usually consists of medications as well as psychological therapy. I am certain that you will feel better with right treatment and support. Regards Dr Ankita Mishra

Hello practo user I can understand the difficult situation that you are currently facing in your life . It seems that there is an underlying stress personal or professional which is causing all these distressing symptoms. It is suggested that you practice pranayam and guided meditation first thing in the morning as it will help calm your mind and control the flow of thoughts . You can try and talk to close family members and friends about the same . Try and engage yourself in enjoyable activities throughout the week to relax . Try and practice backward counting for your anger and go for a run regularly as well. It is advisable that you seek help from a clinical psychologist for an in-depth analysis of your case and formulation of a personalized treatment plan through which you will be able to learn positive and healthy coping skills and techniques which will be beneficial for you . For any further help or guidance you can get in touch with me through the practo app.
