Black line beneath nail
From last 7 month i have notice that there is black line beneath on the thumb of my right hand. I completely know that i didn't get hurt so far, so this is not due to blood clot then What does that mean? Why they are keep on growing. For the first time when i noticed , it was just one line and later I got another

This may be a melanocytic lesion or some exogenous pigmentation, difficult to say from picture.
